When we laugh our blood pressure goes down, and our stress is reduced which they both promote relaxation. On the other hand laughter increases the oxygen level in our blood, which gives us more energy.

laughter bonds us to the people we laugh with

When we wake up from a nightmare, we often continue to shiver from the horror we experienced in sleep. Our heartbeat and blood pressure go up and even we sweat. These are all the exact physiological effects of experiencing horror in real life.

Research shows that " The mind can not differentiate between a real experience and an imagined one". When we start laughing for no reason – even imitating or faking it, the body takes it as real and starts to relax and secrete endorphin , which is body's natural pain killer.

Laughter yoga is like a drug that makes us feel high. Our body remembers this amazing experience and demands it more often, which only can result in a happier life. It really works to loosen us up and makes us feel good, and see more the positive side of life

In our laughter yoga sessions first the emphasis is on the posture in order to encourage deep breathing. We also do different yoga asanas to loosen up after bursting out to laughter each time. At the end of each laughter yoga session is guided deep relaxation, silence, and eventually meditation.
